The xTool X1 is coming to Muskego
The xTool X1 is xTool's new all-in-one laser platform. It pairs a 55W CO2 laser with a fast galvo head on a full-size gantry, and it can take add-on UV, fiber and MOPA laser sources, so one machine can cut, engrave and mark wood, acrylic, glass and metal. Live demos in my Muskego, Wisconsin shop are coming soon. Until then, I'm happy to show you the machines I have now and talk through whether the X1 fits your plans.

Who it's great for
Growing shops
Cutting, fast engraving and, with add-ons, metal and glass work from one machine instead of three.
Batch production
Galvo speed over a large area, plus a conveyor feeder for running long or repeated jobs.
Makers who want room to grow
Start with CO2 and diode, then add UV, fiber or MOPA sources as your business expands.
What to do until the X1 arrives
The X1 combines technology I already run every day. In a demo now, you can see the P2S cut with a 55W CO2 laser, the F2 galvo engrave metal, and the F2 Ultra UV engrave glass and 3D crystals. It's a good way to see the kind of results the X1 is built for and to decide which setup makes sense for you. Demos happen in person at my shop in Muskego, Wisconsin, an easy drive from Milwaukee and northern Illinois, or by live video call from anywhere in the Midwest, including Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana. The exact address is shared once your session is confirmed.

Common questions
When can I see the X1 in Muskego?
It's coming soon. I don't have an X1 in the shop yet, so I can't run it for you today. In the meantime I can demo the P2S (55W CO2) and the F2 and F2 Ultra UV galvo lasers, so you can see the same kinds of lasers the X1 uses at work side by side.
How is the X1 different from the P2S?
Both use a 55W CO2 laser. The P2S is a traditional gantry machine. The X1 adds xTool's Hybrid Motion galvo system for much faster engraving and lets you add other laser sources, such as diode, UV, fiber and MOPA, so one machine can handle wood, acrylic, glass and metal.
Can the X1 engrave metal?
With the 20W diode galvo module it can mark painted and coated metals. For engraving bare metal, embossing or color marking, xTool offers 30W fiber and 60W MOPA add-on sources.
Can the X1 make 3D crystals?
With the 5W UV add-on, xTool says the X1 can engrave inside glass and crystal. My 3D photo crystals are made on the F2 Ultra UV today, and I can demo that now.
What does it cost, and when does it ship?
Launch pricing starts at $3,399 for the X1 Single CO2 and $3,999 for the CO2 + Diode Galvo setup. A $100 deposit holds your spot and adds $308 in extras. Orders open October 28, and xTool says shipping starts October 29. Check xTool's page for the latest details.
Is the $100 deposit refundable?
xTool describes the deposit as fully refundable until you make the final payment. Check xTool's reservation terms for the details.
