xTool MetalFab 1200W laser welder demos are coming to Muskego
The xTool MetalFab is a fiber laser welder that also cuts, cleans and marks metal, with an optional CNC cutting module. I'm planning to add the 1200W MetalFab to my xTool demos in Muskego, Wisconsin. Until then, you can explore it on xTool's site or book a demo of the machines I have now.

Common questions
When can I see the MetalFab in Muskego?
It's coming soon. I'm planning to add the MetalFab 1200W to my demo lineup but don't have it in the shop yet. If you'd like to know when demos open, send me a message. In the meantime, I can demo the F2, which engraves and marks metal.
What is a laser welder?
A laser welder uses a focused fiber laser to melt and join metal. Compared with MIG or TIG welding, it's typically faster on thin material, makes narrower welds with less heat distortion, and leaves less cleanup.
What can the MetalFab weld and cut?
According to xTool, it welds up to 5 mm steel, stainless and galvanized sheet, 4 mm aluminum and 3 mm brass. It cuts up to 5 mm handheld, and the CNC module cuts up to 10 mm carbon steel cleanly.
What do I need to run it?
Shielding gas (argon or nitrogen), laser-safety eyewear rated for fiber lasers, good ventilation and a suitable electrical supply. xTool includes laser goggles and gloves. I'd be happy to talk through setup in a demo.
What does it cost?
xTool lists the MetalFab starting at $4,699. The 1200W model and CNC cutter bundles cost more. Check xTool's page for current pricing and bundles.
